Is it possible to be a street magician in the UK?

The weather. Everybody talks about it in the UK and that's because it generally aint that great, it can effect any plans we want to make. When we see strolling street magicians in the US it's never raining, or blowing their silks or cards all over the place, so the question I want to ask is - 'Apart from a few rare weeks when it's summer, is it realistically possible to be a street magician in the UK?

I'm sure there are a few full time street magicians who brave the weather.  Everytime I goto Covent Gardens in London there is always a magician there performing, and i'm sure he's there in the colder weather too.

Your right.. it's definitely not as glamorous as performing in the US due to constant rain, but where there is a will there is a way :).

Perhaps some full time street magicians are here and can answer the question???

I guess a lot do the same as other street performers and know of suitable Suitable places to perform in different wheather.
