I did not start out in magic learning mentalism, I started with cards and coins. Whilst in my last job I completed a Phd which covered communication. In that I studied NLP which I find quite interesting. It is easy to see the relevance of NLP for Mentalism and how it can and is used in the effects. In reality is has a greater place in magic, that is every area of magic.

You may be wondering how it can be useful in all areas of magic, how ncan it be used with cards and coins. The answer is simple it is presentation. Using the right words, combination of words ands even how you move and present yourself can effect your performance. That is why you should use NLP in your performance.
